Leopard (Panthera Pardus)
Name: Loli
Country: Kenya

Loli is a mature female leopard with two cubs. When AWF researchers first saw Loli, she was living in an area of northern Kenya called Samburu, where she was keeping her cubs hidden from other predators while she hunted for their food at night. Unlike lions who live together in groups called prides, leopards are solitary animals. As the sole provider for her cubs, Loli will not try to hunt any prey that might cause her injury. She must stay healthy and strong because her cubs will die without her.

More information on Loli is included in the Factsheet, which will be delivered, along with a plush leopard and a personal adoption certificate (suitable for framing) to you or the person of your choice. Your adoption gift also includes an annual African Wildlife Foundation membership, and one-year subscription to our quarterly “African Wildlife News.”
